FAQ: When I attempt to conduct my experiment the video doesn't play. Instead the screen is just black! What's wrong?

ANS: This is ALWAYS due to a lack of installation, or an incomplete installation, of Apple Computer's QuickTime Player. As the Read Me First file on your CD states:

VERY IMPORTANT: You must have Apple computer's QuickTime Player 6.x or higher installed on your computer to see video simulation playing in CyberRat.

FAQ: When I attempt to move my CD copy over to my PC's hard drive, it always downloads a new version of CyberRat each time I launch. What's wrong?

ANS: On PCs (not Macs), a CD is always copied as a "read-only" folder and files, even if your HD is not locked. Thus you not only have to change the attributes of the folder, but of every file and sub-folder inside that folder. So, if you wish to use CyberRat exclusively from your Hard Drive rather than your CD, please read the "PC installation of CyberRat" pdf file that is on your CD for important information about resetting Read-only attributes.
